BWH Bulletin's year-end issue is a time to highlight BWHers' proudest moments from the past year. We asked you to share one BWH-related memory from 2014 that was meaningful to you, and you offered touching stories about colleagues, patients, families, events and milestones that inspired you. We hope you enjoy these moments.
Welcoming A New Member to the BWH Family
This past year on Nov. 7 at 10 p.m. here at BWH, the best and the brightest moment of my life and career occurred. My granddaughter, Josie Elizabeth Greenebaum (pictured), came into the world and was welcomed with open arms by not only her parents and the Mazzawi family, but also by an amazing group of individuals that work here at BWH. The kindness, care and support that my family and I received was the reason why I came to BWH 30 years ago after delivering my daughter Marta, Josie's mother. I'm blessed to have the opportunity to work with and to be cared for by such an amazing group of individuals. Thank you all for what you do and continue to do.
