Mazzawi Appointed to Quality Program Manager
Julianne Mazzawi, MS, RN, in January began as quality program manager for CWN.
Mazzawi brings more than 20 years of clinical and managerial experience to this role, in the areas of antenatal, postpartum and neonatal care. Mazzawi joined BWH as a NICU staff nurse in 1989. She was a nurse in-charge and assistant nurse manager before being named nurse manager of CWN 8 in 2003.
“Julianne was instrumental in leading several quality improvement programs and has made many contributions to nursing practice for this patient population,” said Angelleen Peters-Lewis, PhD, RN, director of Women and Newborn Nursing and Clinical Services.
Mazzawi completed her masters in nursing administration from Regis College, received her BSN from Emmanuel College and her associate’s degree in nursing from Laboure Junior College. She is the president elect of the Sigma Theta Tau Pi Epsilon at-large chapter.
