The Staff Survey Action Teams will host a kick-off event on Friday, September 22, from 1:30-3 p.m. in the Carrie M. Hall Conference Center. All BWH employees are invited to meet team members, hear an overview of the survey follow-up process, review the data from the June 1999 staff survey, discuss expectations for the teams and enjoy a reception with colleagues who are participating on a staff survey follow-up team. This kick-off event will drive the momentum for the four-hour Action Team training sessions to take place later this month. The teams were established earlier this year and consist of employees who have volunteered from throughout the hospital. Each team has representation from senior management, who will serve as the Executive Sponsors and in other leadership roles. The survey follow-up process has been established to allow employees the chance to generate the ideas and guide the improvement process. The five Action Teams will work to address quality patient care/customer service, communication, leadership, respect and teamwork. For information on how you can still participate, call Martha Pyle Farrell at ext. 5741.
