BWPO Radiology Extends to Cape Cod
Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization began providing Radiology services at Cape Cod Hospital for Cape Cod Healthcare in May, launching a relationship that promises to bring the most advanced imaging technology and capability of Brigham and Women’s Hospital to Cape Cod.
In September, BWPO and Cape Cod Healthcare announced the appointment of Nicolas Argy, MD, JD, as chairman of Radiology at Cape Cod Hospital.
“Linking Cape Cod Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital brings the best care to all our patients on Cape Cod. I look forward to serving the entire Cape region at a leading community hospital and health care system,” Argy said.
Argy had been a staff radiologist at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham for more than 15 years, and he has been an adjunct assistant professor of public health at Boston University School of Medicine since 1987. Argy earned his medical degree from Boston University and completed his internship in Medicine and his residency in Radiology there.
“Nick is a well-respected radiologist, and he will quickly prove to be an asset to Cape Cod Healthcare and all its patients,” added Steven Seltzer, MD, chairman of the BWPO and chairman of Brigham and Women’s Radiology.
“Cape Cod Hospital patients will surely benefit from Dr. Argy’s extensive background, knowledge and experience in so many aspects of radiology services,” said Margy Hanson, chief operating officer of Cape Cod Healthcare.
