Throughout her career, Amy Zydanowicz has helped many people take their first step to advancing their career goals.
“What’s so exciting about coming to the Brigham is the desire and motivation our employees have to further their careers,” said Zydanowicz, the latest addition to the Human Resources’ Workforce Development team, which provides employees with career coaching and supports employees taking classes within the Workforce Development programs.
Zydanowicz, who joined BWH on Feb. 14, supports and coaches employees who wish to explore new career opportunities as they continue to grow within the organization.
“We have so many resources available to help you obtain a college degree, advance in the organization or strengthen your academic skills. All you need is do is to take the first step, and we’re here to give you the extra push,” she said.
Previously, Zydanowicz served as career and academic coach at the Jewish Vocational Service (JVS), a community organization that helps Boston residents find employment and career advancement opportunities, in addition to partnering with employers—including BWH—to hire, develop and retain employees. Zydanowicz spent three years at the JVS leading academic coaching and study skills workshops.
