Do you know what to do if a member of the media contacts you? Per BWH policy, you should immediately contact Communication & Public Affairs at 617-534-1600 during normal business hours or page the Public Affairs on-call staff member at #13160 after hours, on weekends or during holidays.
A member of the BWH Media Relations team must approve all requests for interviews, whether via phone, e-mail or in person and must escort all broadcast media and photographers while on campus. Additionally, the Media Relations team is available to research and provide background information about the reporter and media outlet as well as help you think through your message and prepare you for an interview. Whether a reporter is interviewing you on site or by telephone, the policy requires you to contact Communication & Public Affairs prior to speaking to a reporter.
