Potential thieves are more likely to break into vehicles with items in plain view such as duffle bags, CD players and spare change.BWH Security provides the following tips to reduce the chances that your vehicle will be broken into:
• Lock the doors and close the windows when you exit your vehicle. • Don't leave any valuables in plain view in the vehicle-even spare change. If you can see your valuables from outside the car, so can a thief. • If you must leave valuables in your car, place them in your trunk before you arrive at your destination in case someone is watching you. • Try to park in a well-lit, well-traveled area.
