BWH discourages receiving personal packages at work. The Receiving and Distribution department on the main campus cannot manage the receipt and delivery of personal packages; its priority is to maintain same-day delivery of items related to hospital business. Influenza vaccines are available at the OHS Neville Clinic, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m. All employees are required by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to document in PeopleSoft that they either received a flu vaccination or declined to be vaccinated by Jan. 31, 2011. This information is automatically entered for employees who receive vaccinations through the BWH OHS or Shapiro flu clinics and the Peer-to-Peer Program.
The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation hosts a blood and platelet drive, Dec. 6-31, at the BWH Blood Donor Center. Donors will receive a special Patriots-themed gift and be entered into a drawing for one of two autographed footballs. To make an appointment, e-mail blooddonor@partners.org
