BWH Security officers patrol every area of the hospital's nearly 5 million square foot-campus.
For the fourth year in a row, BWH Security ranks among the elite security departments for health care organizations, according to Security Magazine, a national trade publication.
Moving up two spots from last year, BWH Security placed fifth among organizations from across the country that were surveyed for providing a safe and secure environment for employees, patients and visitors.
“This recognition is a credit to our entire Security team,” said Robert Chicarello, CPP, director of Security and Parking, whose department monitors and patrols BWH’s nearly 5 million square foot-campus.
The magazine bases its rankings on information from several sources, including data from the organization and public records.
