In August 2000, BWH launched the Employee Referral Bonus Program, a three-month pilot created to enhance our recruitment efforts during the time of a thriving job market. Thanks to the dedication of BWH and PHS employees, the three-month pilot became a three-year success. The Referral program, with help from a shifting job market and the expansion of the HR Department to include additional staffing specialists, reduced the number of open positions at BWH by more than 25 percent. On September 30, 2003 the Employee Referral Bonus Program will come to a close.
The deadline for submitting referral forms will be September 30, 2003. Referred employees must have a date of hire on or before December 31, 2003. Forms submitted after September 30 and employees hired after December 31 will not be eligible.
