BWH has released Lower Extremity Musculoskeletal Disorders: A Guide to Diagnosis and Treatment, the most recent publication in the Women’s Health Guidelines Series. A multidisciplinary team, headed up by Soheyla Gharib, MD, editor-in-chief and Mary D. Chapin, RN, director of Women’s Health Guidelines, including authors from primary care, rheumatology, orthopedics, physical therapy and women’s health developed this guideline. This guideline is a review of common problems of the lower extremity in women and includes a clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment and referral recommendations, reflecting the practice standards of BWH. The Women’s Health Guidelines are available on the intranet version of the Partners Handbook (

) by clicking on “Guidelines.”
