At the end of July, Carol Levy resigned from her position as president and chief executive officer of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands (RHCI)—a member of Partners Continuing Care and a sister entity to Partners Home Care. Effective July 22, long-time RHCI administrator Carol Sim was appointed interim chief executive officer.
“On behalf of Partners, I would like to express appreciation to Carol Levy for her years of dedicated service to RHCI. Carol worked tirelessly for seven years to make RHCI a reality and guided the institution through its start-up and initial growth, helping to make it the region’s premier rehabilitation provider,” said David Storto, president, Partners Continuing Care.
Sim has agreed to serve in this capacity temporarily until Levy’s successor is identified. Initially serving as director of Program and Clinical Support Services, Sim was appointed vice president of Clinical Services in 1996.
