Prayer Canvas Visits BWHOn April 1, the America 4 Boston Prayer Canvas will visit BWH. Started by seven mothers in Florida, the non-denominational canvas honors Boston Marathon bombing victims and survivors. Inscribed with messages of hope, the canvas has traveled to all 50 states and more than 30 countries. On April 1, BWHers can visit a table outside the Shop on the Pike from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to write a message on BWH's piece of the canvas. The entire canvas, which will span 19,000 feet, will be displayed on Boston Common April 15 and 16 before being presented to the city of Boston at the April 21 Red Sox game. To learn more, visit BWHPikeNotes.org.
Schwartz Center Rounds Hospital staff, Boston Marathon first responders and volunteers are invited to participate in the second series of Marathon-related Schwartz Center Rounds, "Boston Marathon Caregivers One Year Later: Moving Forward with Healing and Renewed Compassion." ICD-10 Training UpdateAn ICD-10 training coordinator has now been identified for each department/clinical area. During these sessions, coordinators will receive a complete employee listing by department, learn which employees require ICD-10 HealthStream training and receive information about what courses may be appropriate for employees based on their roles (courses will be assigned at manager discretion). Learn more at BWHPikeNotes.org, or email bwhcicd10@partners.org.
