BWHers from departments across the distributed campus donned all shades of red on Feb. 7, National "Wear Red Day," to raise awareness of women's heart health. The American Heart Association launched the Go Red for Women cause in 2004. The first Friday each February is meant to bring attention to heart disease, the number one killer of women in the U.S. Photos of BWHers wearing red were posted on the hospital's Community Connects television screens and PikeNotes throughout the day.
