All non-immigrant visa holders (H-1B, J-1, J-2, F-1, F-2, and TN) must file a U.S. Income Tax Return even if they did not earn money from a U.S. source. If you earned money in the U.S., you must file your tax returns no later than April 15, 2003. If you did not earn money in the U.S., you are still required to file no later than June 15, 2003. Partners International Office (PIO) is bringing in the expert for questions on tax obligations for international research fellows, clinicians, and staff members.
Bill Authenrieth, former Taxpayer Education Specialist for the IRS, will present tax information sessions on different related topics.
