Partners Introduces Long-Term Care Program
Effective April 1, 2003, Partners HealthCare is introducing a Long-Term Care Insurance Plan available to eligible employees and their eligible spouses/qualified same-sex domestic partners, parents/step-parents, and parents-in-law. This insurance plan is meant to help protect your assets, yourself and your family against the costs of long-term care.
When employees qualify for benefits and complete a waiting period, the Partners HealthCare Long-Term Care Insurance Plan helps cover long-term care costs in a variety of locations – in one’s home, in a nursing home, and in other types of facilities that are covered under the plan. Employees can receive services from trained nurses, home health care aides, therapists, and other types of caregivers.
Employees will be able to enroll from March 3 to April 25, 2003. Call John Hancock at 1-800-560-4711 to request your free Partners HealthCare Long-Term Care Insurance Plan enrollment kit or visit http://partners.jhancock.com – (username: partners; password: mybenefit). Active employees may enroll on-line.
