Surgical Technologist Intern Program March 4 and 6Outside the CafeteriaThe Operating Room is offering the Surgical Technologist Intern program that will pay the cost of tuition, books and fees for the 12-month program at Mass Bay Community College (MBCC). The program supports ten employees who meet minimum requirements at MBCC and program selection criteria. The Operating Room will continue to pay salaries and benefits for the Surgical Technologist interns. Outreach sessions will be held on March 4 and 6, 11 a.m.-1p.m., outside the Cafeteria. An information session will be held on March 20, 2:30 - 5 p.m., in the Anesthesia Conference Room. Call 617-525-3112 with any questions.

The theme for this month’s series is, “BWH Clinical Pathways: Year-One Review. ” Presented by: Dorothy Goulart, RN, MS, director of Performance Improvement, BWH Center for Clinical Excellence. A Party You Shouldn’t Miss: The Boston Heart Party™ 2003 March 21 through May 11For the past four years, The Boston Heart Party™ has been working to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease (CVD) for women. BWH is proud to be working with Pfizer Inc. and other Boston-area health care organizations to again provide FREE cardiovascular screenings for women aged 35 and older. Participants will receive a free screening that checks their blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose.
