Michael Lambert, MD, received the first annual Thomas H. Lee, MD Award for Excellence in Primary Care. This new award, presented April 3, recognizes Lambert, a primary care physician at Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center, for providing exceptional service and compassionate care to his patients.
Named in honor of Thomas H. Lee, a primary care physician at Brigham Internal Medicine Associates, the award honors these special physicians, celebrates successes and inspires others to pursue careers in primary care. Herbert Vaughan, a patient of Lee’s, was the donor who made this award possible. He is one of the top real estate lawyers in Boston, who is credited with being one of a handful of real estate experts who planned, developed and created today’s Boston skyline.
