Whether you crawled in or walked in, this year's Baby Faire at the Bayside Exposition Center was a success. The two-day event, partly sponsored by Brigham and Women's Hospital, had an attendance of approximately 22,000 people. At BWH’s booth, expectant moms listened to their babies’ heart beats, learned how to breastfeed, and had their questions answered by BWH nurses. A replica of an actual labor and delivery room was a big draw again this year, while the calmness of the maternity lounge was appreciated by nursing women. Other activities at the booth included body-fat testing, tips on preventing morning sickness, and enrollment in the BWH Baby Bonus Club. Photo by George Martell/Boston Hearald
