Kathy McManus, MS, RD, director of Nutrition, discusses the two diets voted Best for 2012 by US News and World Report and will provide an overview of the new BWH Cafeteria’s ‘Your Health, Your Choice” program, that helps employees and customers in the BWH Cafeteria make wise, healthful food choices, on Feb 29, 1–2 p.m., in the Kessler Health Education Library.
The next Arts in the Atrium performance takes place on Feb 29, at 12:30 p.m., in the Cabot Atrium. Performing is Vivian Cooley-Collier, administrative assistant in the Office of Women’s Careers in the Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. Cooley-Collier, who sings gospel, jazz, blues and R&B, has been the lead soloist for the Langston Hughes production of Black Nativity for 41 years, and has sung nationally and internationally. All are welcome to attend.
On March 3, the McCourt Foundation will present two educational forums on recent scientific progress treating Alzheimer’s and Multiple Sclerosis at the Newton Marriot Hotel Grand Ballroom. The Alzheimer’s forum runs from 10-11:30 a.m., and the forum for Multiple Sclerosis is 1-2:30 p.m. Please contact the McCourt Foundation at 781-444-2544 to reserve seats.
