In honor of its first birthday, the Shop on the Pike is offering a 20 percent storewide discount Thursday, Dec. 17, as well as door prizes and a sidewalk sale with up to 75 percent off selected items. Please note the discount does not apply to flowers, plants, magazines and candy.

The new Hot Nosh Kosher vending machine in the BWH Cafeteria dispenses onion rings, mozzarella sticks, ziti, pizza and potato knishes for people who adhere to kosher diets. The vending machine stores food in its freezer section and uses microwave defrosting capabilities to ensure food is dispensed as crispy as though it came out of an oven. The machine is just outside the Pod B seating area and is available around the clock.
Celebrate Hanukkah with Chaplaincy Services Dec. 16, at 5 p.m., in the Cafeteria. Latkes will be served.
