Christine Meng was named associate chief for the Development Office in August.
Meng brings a wealth of experience in academic medicine and knowledge of Boston philanthropy. Most recently, she worked at Children’s Hospital Boston, where she served as senior director of Development in major gifts and principal gifts. In this role, she managed and mentored fund-raising staff, maintained a personal portfolio of principal gift prospects and worked closely with senior members of the faculty and administration to advance the institution’s priorities.
Prior to her tenure at Children’s Hospital, Meng served in leadership roles at Babson College and Boston University. Early in her career, she worked for Walter Mondale, both when he was a U.S. senator from Minnesota and when he became vice president.
