Marta “Mardi” P. Chadwick, JD, last month joined the Center for Community Health and Health Equity as director of Passageway, BWH’s domestic violence intervention program.
Previously, Chadwick was the director of Client Services and senior counsel at the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center, which serves victims of domestic violence in the Greater Newburyport area. She served as an advocate for victims at the center, too.
Also, she was the co-creator of the Greater Newburyport Domestic Violence High Risk Case Response Team, a nationally recognized model of multidisciplinary professionals who work together on the identification and intervention for high risk cases.
In 2006, she was named a Massachusetts Unsung Heroine by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. Chadwick received her JD cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
