On Jan. 20, employees throughout BWH gathered in different locations to watch as Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th president of the United States. BWH Public Affairs captured some of the sights and sounds as a standing-room-only crowd gathered in Carrie Hall. View scenes from that location and hear BWHers, Wildine Despeignes, Anne Fladger and Fulecia Stevens, describe what this event meant to them.
The Friends of BWH are offering donation cards and a simple way to send them to your loved ones. For a gift of $5 or more, the Friends will send a personalized greeting card to a person of your choice. Cards acknowledge your donation—which can be in honor or in memory of a loved one—and display a message of your choice. To place an order, call Amy Yunes at 781-784-2969 or e-mail Elaine Garland.
