New Leadership in Medical Residency Program
Pike Notes
Marshall Wolf, MD, announced his intention to step down as director of BWH Medical Residency Programs last November, and March 15, 2000, marked the formal end of his tenure. Two former BWH chief residents, Joel Katz, MD, and Bruce Levy, MD, have taken up the leadership reins of the Medical Training Program. Katz has assumed the role of program director of BWH Medical Residency Programs, and Levy is the new residency co-director for Academics and Career Development. Says Katz, “Marshall’s career has been absolutely distinguished, and it was a pleasure for both Bruce and I to work with and once again be mentored by him as we recruited our new residents. It was an outstanding match in all respects, having again attracted so many young physicians who were at the top of their medical school class.”
