On Monday, September 18, four SJPHC employees were honored for their promotion of Latinas in the health care workforce. Left to right: Liliana Rosselly-Risal, MD; Dora Gonzalez, women’s health secretary; Lucy Hernandez and Marisol Figueroa, both medical assistants received awards and commendation from the Governor’s Office of Puerto Rico. Albert Vasallo, III from the newspaper El Mundo and La Caliente 1330 AM was the featured guest speaker. After the presentation, guests enjoyed a dance presentation and a variety of ethnic food.
