Who’s News
Carol Sim has been appointed to the role of president and chief executive officer of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands (RHCI)—a member of Partners Continuing Care and a sister entity to Partners Home Care and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Sim has served as interim CEO since Carol Levy resigned from her position in July.
She has been instrumental in the hospital’s success since RHCI opened eight years ago. She initially served as director of Program and Clinical Support Services, overseeing ancillary services. In 1996, she was appointed vice president of Clinical Services, assuming responsibility for the hospital's inpatient and ancillary operations, quality management program, accreditation processes and external relationships with insurers and others.
Before joining RHCI, Sim was chief executive officer of the Branford Visiting Nurse Association in Connecticut, and she held several management positions at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
