Attention New Employees
This annual celebration acknowledges the important work of social workers here at BWH. BWH’s Department of Care Coordination is staffed by clinical social workers, who collaborate with patients, families and providers throughout the BWH and DFCI communities. While providing comprehensive psychosocial support, advocacy, and care for patients and families, social workers function with compassion and professionalism. Whether it is general medicine, transplant, cancer, outpatient or OB services, social workers respond to the multiple and varied needs of patients. All employees are encouraged to join the hospital in saluting these integral members of the health care team.
