Workforce Development is enrolling participants in its School at Work program, which begins in October. This seven-month comprehensive program helps employees advance their careers and prepare for higher education. Classes are on campus Wednesdays from 3 to 5:30 p.m. To apply, call 617-713-3738 or email bwhwfd@partners.org. Applications are due Aug. 31.

BWH is committed to putting every Patient First. Celebrate BWH’s achievements in service excellence and learn about the Patient First initiative at a series of fairs. You’ll have a chance to win an iPad 2, receive giveaways and enjoy refreshments. The first fair is Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., in the Cabot Atrium. Using a patient’s family member or friend as an interpreter has the potential to compromise the quality of care.
