Margo Daphnis was named director of the BW/F Compass Program, a role she had been serving in on an interim basis since July 2010. Daphnis will direct the overall project for BWH and Faulkner, working closely with key leaders in Admitting, Finance, IT, ambulatory, hospital and professional billing, as well as oversee the project teams that will form to handle implementation of the Soarian Revenue Cycle Applications. She will serve as BWH’s point person for the Compass team and collaborate closely with MGH and the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization.
Since joining the BWH IS team in 2006 as a corporate manager, Daphnis has been responsible for the IS initiatives in the Department of Pathology and ancillary departments, the Longitudinal Medical Records and Patient Gateway implementation and support team, network development and assisting the BWPO.
Prior to that, Daphnis served as director of Business Technology for Hayes Management Consulting in Newton. From 1994 to 2000, she was PHS IS corporate manager for MGH/MGPO, a role in which she oversaw the installation of the IDX Scheduling application across more than 100 practices.
Daphnis received her bachelor’s degree from Simmons College in Boston.
