In May, Women's Health Associates primary care and gynecology practices will move from the main campus to 850 Boylston to join in the opening of the new comprehensive Gretchen and Edward Fish Center for Women's Health. Other specialty services for women will also be available there in the months ahead including: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology (including diabetes treatment), Dermatology, Mental Health, Nutrition, Urogynecology, Arthritis and orthopedics (including sports medicine).
The Gretchen and Edward Fish Center for Women's Health at 850 Boylston, in addition to providing comprehensive gender specific health care for women, is developing an innovative research component that engages patients and more closely ties our strengths in research and clinical care. According to Paula Johnson, chief of the Division of Women's Health, “The 'learning laboratory model' provides an exciting opportunity for research, rapid translation of research into clinical care and ongoing evaluation.”
