The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Boston Public Health Commission strongly recommend flu vaccinations for health care workers, high risk patients and their family members, especially given the widespread outbreaks in other parts of the United States and the severity of illness caused by the predominant strain of influenza that is circulating. BWH’s OHS is offering free flu vaccinations to employees on a walk-in basis at the OHS clinic in the Neville House, 1st floor. Flu shots are offered daily from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for Wednesdays from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Employees who received their flu shots at their doctor’s office or other health clinics, should call ext. 2-6034 in order for OHS to maintain current records.
