Volume of Surgical Cases
The volume of Surgical Cases at Faulkner continues to increase. During the month of April, a total of 264 surgical cases performed by BWH physicians surpassed an expected total of 175.
Infusion Service
With Infusion Service now being offered at both Faulkner and BWH, patients and physicians are reporting high satisfaction. They’ve cited shorter wait times and other favorable amenities at Faulkner, where more than 100 BWH patients have been referred this year. To schedule an infusion at Faulkner, patients or their physicians should call 617-983-7521; and physicians can enter orders via BICS no later than 2 p.m. the day prior to the infusion. Non-credentialed referring physicians should call 617-732-4301 for a Faulkner credentialing packet. Clinical questions should be directed to 617-732-5145.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Center
BWH has moved its Cardiac Rehabilitation Center to Faulkner Hospital’s campus. Newly referred rehabilitation patients will now be treated at Faulkner, and cardiac testing is now located on Tower 3 at BWH. To make a referral, call the Faulkner Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at 617-983-7104.
