Komaroff Presents at National Press Club
Anthony Komaroff, MD, Brigham Internal Medicine Associates, in November presented information about chronic fatigue syndrome at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. He presented along with the U.S. assistant secretary for Health and the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The presentation included information about the prevalence of chronic fatigue syndrome and the growing number of underlying biological abnormalities found by research at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and in other laboratories around the world.
Komaroff has been active in research on chronic fatigue syndrome for more than 20 years. He has served as a consultant about the illness to the Department of Health and Human Services, the Center for Disease Control and the National Institutes of Health.
