The Department of Pathology hosted its third annual research celebration last month honoring young investigators with an event that featured some 60 poster presentations of clinical, translational and basic science research projects conducted by junior faculty, clinical residents and fellows, research fellows and students.
Distinguished senior faculty members of the Harvard medical community served as judges and awarded posters of distinction to researchers Kelly Arnett, De-xiu Bu, Chiara Grisanzio and Youyang Yang. Nobel laureate Joseph Murray, MD, was in attendance.
Luigi Adamo and his mentor Guillermo García-Cardeña, PhD, were honored as the recipients of the Thomas J. Gill III, M.D. and Simon Simonian, M.D., Sc.D. Prize for Research Excellence and Mentorship in Pathology.
