ProTech Students
Since 1991, BWH has participated in Project ProTech to bring students from English High School to the hospital for health care work experience. On March 8, this year's ProTech employees enacted "Annie's Ailment," case presentation in the form of a play that gave them a chance to apply their newly learned knowledge of health care and training, much to the delight of the audience in the Bornstein Amphitheater. This program is sponsored by the department of Human Resources under the leadership of Henry Ryan, Director of Corporate Training and Gil Reppucci, Coordinator. Students who complete the year-long ProTech program often pursue careers in health care. Many go on to college, and many come to BWH after graduating from English High.
