Morton leads one of only a few research programs investigating the genetics of uterine fibroids, the most common pelvic tumor and most common cause for hysterectomy. Sponsored by the Women’s Health Leadership Forum, the Connors Award was established in 1999 to honor an individual from the BWH community who, by his or her dedication, imagination, and leadership, has made significant contributions to BWH’s preeminence in Women’s Health.
