Storks Arrive at the Connors Center
Spring 2003 Computer Training
Led by Mairead Hickey, RN, PhD, vice president, Women and Specialty Services; Robert Barbieri, MD, chairman, Obstetrics and Gynecology; and Paula Gillette, RN, director, Women’s and Newborn Clinical and Nursing Services, the Post-Partum Service Excellence Team has worked to place “Caution: Culture Shift Ahead” displays including stork icons throughout the Connors Center for Women’s Health. The displays can be found on floors eight, nine and ten of the Connors Center and signify the Center’s process of revamping customer service as we know it in post-partum care delivery. Also part of the stork displays are bulletins entitled “Stork Bytes” that are meant to keep employees and patients up-to-date on the Team’s progress.
