Michael J. Malone, MD, has been appointed section chief of Urology at BWFH, as of Nov. 1. In this role, Malone works closely with Adam Kibel, MD, chief of BWH’s Division of Urology, and senior BWHC leadership to expand and improve the existing Brigham and Women’s Urology Program at BWFH, and specifically, the expansion of general urology access and services and subspecialty urology programs.
Prior to this role, Malone was a staff urologist in BWFH’s Department of Surgery for more than a decade. He also served as chief of surgery at Dedham Medical Associates, and has worked at Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School.
Malone earned his bachelor’s degree at Brandeis University and medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS). He completed his training at UMMS and Lahey Clinic Medical Center, where he spent 14 years as a member of its urology team.
