Employee Flu Clinics
BWH Occupational Health Services will administer flu vaccine for employees in the Tower 2 mezzanine lobby Sept. 27–Oct. 4 daily, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Staff should bring their ID badge and wear loose clothing. For staff due for their annual TB screening, screenings will be provided at all of the employee flu clinics on and off-site. Vaccine clinics for off-site employees will be held at locations throughout the distributed campus in October. View the off-site clinic schedule.
Help Desk Now “Partners IS Service Desk”
The Partners Help Desk is now called the Partners IS Service Desk. Changes include a new website, improved service and easy and secure access over the Internet. Visit the new website here.
Medical Library Fall Courses
The BWH Medical Library is offering courses this fall to help hospital employees take advantage of the library’s resources. Classes take place at the Medical Library, TH-127. Space is limited. View the calendar and register to attend.
Play Online Game to Improve Health
Community PlanIt, an online game sponsored by the Center for Community Health and Health Equity with the Emerson Game Lab, gives people in local neighborhoods, including Mission Hill and Dorchester, the power to shape their community’s future. BWH will be funding programs to support health and well-being in these neighborhoods. The game launches Sept. 28 and runs through Oct. 19. Patient Parking, Bicycle Spaces
With the opening of the new Stoneman Centennial Park and Patient Parking Garage (5 Francis St.), patient parking options now include self-parking at 45 Francis St. (beginning Oct. 6) and at 80 Francis St. (former Servicenter Garage), as well as valet service at 15, 45 and 75 Francis St. In addition, 95 bicycle spaces are available to employees in the new Patient Parking Garage.
