The BWH community gathered together on July 9 to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan with an Iftar dinner and prayer service. Iftar is the breaking of the fast, which occurs every day at sunset during Ramadan. BWHers from a variety of faiths began their evening with dates and milk, which in the Muslim tradition prepares the body for food after a day of fasting, followed by prayer, led by Chaplaincy's Imam Talal Eid. The night ended with a feast in the Pod B Cafeteria.
