As technology continues to take a front seat in the evolution of medical advancement, BWH’s Radiology Department is keeping pace. Last week, the ribbon cutting of the new interventional neuroradiology suite was the newest chapter in BWH’s ability to apply the very latest state-of-the-art technology to optimize patient care delivery.
“This new suite allows us to treat brain tumors and vascular disorders of the head and neck with minimally invasive catheter-based techniques,” said Alexander Norbash, MD, director of Neuroradiology and Endovascular Surgery at BWH and one of the first physicians to take advantage of this innovation alongside Drs. Peter Black and Steven Seltzer, among others.
“This new suite serves as a model for other leading medical centers across the country,” said Norbash.
