On Dec. 16 and 17, more than 300 staff from Brigham and Women's Health Care (BWHC) attended Organizational Readiness Team kick-off meetings, held simultaneously at BWH and BWFH, as part of Partners eCare planning. Made up of representatives from all BWHC sites and departments, the BWHC Organizational Readiness team will ensure that all staff are fully informed and prepared for Partners eCare implementation, scheduled to go live in May 2015.
"The Organizational Readiness Team will play an integral part in the successful implementation of Partners eCare at BWHC," said Dot Goulart, MS, RN, BWH Organizational Readiness director. "In the coming months, the team will be introducing colleagues and staff to the benefits and values that Partners eCare brings to our organization. The team will also share information about upcoming organizational readiness activities and the impacts such activities may have on individual departments."
BWHC staff most impacted by the implementation will receive a series of surveys designed to help evaluate how the Organizational Readiness Team is doing and to provide feedback on where more information may be needed.
"We ask all staff who receive a survey to please participate," explained Kae Santos, BWFH Organizational Readiness director. "Your feedback will help us improve our processes, and in the long run, will help the implementation go as smoothly as possible."
