Brigham and Women's Hospital and South Shore Hospital (SSH) in South Weymouth finalized a clinical affiliation agreement to develop health care programs for adults living and working in a broad region south of Boston. BWH and SSH plan to offer specialized surgical, cardiovascular, cancer, primary care and women's health services to increase the availability and accessibility of advanced care while enhancing clinical continuity, quality and safety.
“We share a dedication to excellence in health care,” BWH President Gary L. Gottlieb said. “Working hand-in-hand, both institutions are embracing an opportunity to deliver the right care at the right place to best serve our patients.”
SSH President Richard H. Aubut said, “This is an unprecedented opportunity for South Shore Hospital to offer the people of our region an unmatched level and combination of care.”
