Radiation Oncology Goes Tropical
Staff and patients in Hawaiian shirts and sunglasses brought a burst of tropical paradise to BWH's Radiation Oncology Department, as it recently celebrated its 8th annual Caribbean Day. L2 was festooned with inflatable parrots and palm trees to brighten the dreary weather and lift patients' spirits. Staff pulled out all the stops to transform the floor, with one employee even sporting a full alligator costume to complete the island atmosphere.
