From now through December, the MBTA will be reconstructing the tracks for the āEā Green Line trolley on South Huntington Avenue, from Huntington Avenue to the trolley turn-around at the Heath Street loop. The roadway will be repaved immediately following reconstruction of the railroad tracks. During this construction, service on the āEā line will end and begin at Brigham Circle. Service between Lechmere and Brigham Circle will not be affected. Shuttle buses will be operated in a loop from Heath Street and Back Bay Station. The #39 bus will continue to run on its regular schedule. Work will take place on South Huntington Avenue Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Construction will continue until 9 p.m. when needed. One lane will be open in both directions at all times with police details on site to direct traffic. However, parking will be removed on both sides of the street during the construction. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Sarah Hamilton, Masco, 632-2776, or Brian Moroney, MBTA, 222-3084.
