Safety Matters Quality Rounds

Office Ergonomics Training
Partners Occupational Health Service Ergonomics will hold its next Train the Trainer Session in Office Ergonomics Jan. 11, 9 a.m.-noon, at the MGH Training and Workforce Development Office (165 Cambridge Street, Suite 200). This training is ideal for individuals with an interest in becoming their department’s expert in office ergonomics or anyone interested in healthy computing. Space is limited. Literature and Medicine Group
Join a diverse group of BWH clinicians to reflect on the roles and experiences of caring for patients. Sessions meet one Monday per month for six months, beginning Jan. 28, 5:30-7:30 p.m., in the Shapiro Breakout Room. Dinner will be provided
An Art, Wine & Chocolate Affair
The Friends of Brigham and Women’s Hospital will host an evening of art, chocolate and wine Feb. 8, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at the Liberty Hotel (215 Charles St.). The event benefits various BWH initiatives, including the BWH/DFCI Bloodmobile, and will feature a silent art auction. Tickets are $50 in advance/$60 at the door. Lose Weight and Get Healthy
Start your New Year’s resolution with a visit to the Center for Metabolic Health and Bariatric Surgery (CMBS) at BWH and BWFH. The center offers complimentary daytime information sessions for those interested in weight loss surgery. Evening information sessions are also offered. All Partners employees who attend an information session in January or February will receive $100 off the bariatric surgery program fee.
