This summer, BWH Chaplaincy Services hosted a group of students from Russia interested in learning about the role of Chaplaincy in U.S. hospitals. During their visit, the students, who were part of an exchange program with Boston University, met with Chaplaincy staff and received a tour of the hospital.
“Chaplaincy services are not well known about or utilized in Russia, so it was a great pleasure to host the students and share how the Brigham Chaplaincy Services staff work in conjunction with clinical care providers to ensure our patients receive the best possible care,” said Laurie Bittmann, operations supervisor of Chaplaincy Services.
