BRI Workshop: Vitamin D
“Vitamin D: Shared Mechanisms of Disease” is the first of a series of workshops focusing on interdisciplinary research topics that cut across multiple BRI Research Centers. The purpose is to provide a forum for investigators from different centers to showcase their expertise, interest and research on a particular theme and encourage networking and collaboration. To help BWH become an even better place to work, the hospital is launching a confidential employee opinion survey in June with the goal of the entire community participating. To prepare, more than 1,000 managers and survey ambassadors are attending training sessions in the coming weeks to help conduct the survey and to achieve a high response rate. BWH is starting a Toastmasters Club to help interested employees express themselves effectively, sharpen management skills and speak confidently.
