This year’s recipients are Mike Chamo, a BWH volunteer who attends the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences pre-med program, Crismel Calderon, who attends Assumption College, and Wendy Piota, who is studying at Bunker Hill Community College to be a teacher.
The award was established in honor of the 28 years that Leber, a pediatrician, dedicated to medicine and the growth of SJPHC. Leber presented the awards alongside SJPHC’s executive director Tom Kieffer, medical director Michael Lambert, MD, and Robert Oldshue, MD.
